Egypt: The youth perspective
Young people are at the forefront of protests in Egypt, but do they believe that they can bring about change?
Inspired by the revolution in Tunisia, young Egyptians are leading the ongoing protests in their own country.
Thousands of Egyptians have taken to the streets across the country, demanding political change.
As in Tunisia, no political party or group is orchestrating the protests, although prominent opposition figures and the banned Muslim Brotherhood said they are joining the demonstrations. And in an unprecedented move, Egyptian authorities quickly moved to cut off the internet and mobile phones.
So, how do young Egyptians view the protests and are they hopeful that change will come?
