AP PHOTOS: Egypt cracks down on pro-Morsi camps

Two protest camps in Cairo, set up by supporters of Egypt’s ousted President Mohamed Morsi, have been violently evicted by security forces.

The reports of dead and injured fluctuate greatly – members of the Muslim Brotherhood have claimed that more than 2,200 people have been killed and nearly 10,000 injured, while state-run media claims the figures are significantly less. However, Al Jazeera’s correspondent counted 94 bodies in Rabaa al-Adawiya’s makeshift hospital.
